I went to the merchant to get a quotation on a set of tyres which my company will be using wesbank to pay for, upon arrival i got attended to by an Indian fella(couldnt get his name) and i told him that i needed a quotation of a set of tyres. He took the sizes of my tyres and went inside to go do the quotation as i was following him. When we got to his desk he complained about how his computer was a bit slow and even apologised for that, now with md being reasonable i told him its no problem. Then there's a lady that entered the reception area and stood behind me.
Now the sales person goes on to tell me to have a seat while waiting for him computer to come back online, i didnt have any problem with that at all. But as im seated i see him attending to the lady who was behind me. I thought maybe she's asking for something of which he knows by head or something, the next thing i see him even going in the workshop assuming he was going to double check with the workers of what the lady was asking. But what pissed me off is when i saw him further assisting the lady on the same computer that i was told was acting up and slow.
My plea to the merchant management is to treat people as equals, i cant be told to take a seat then the next customer gets full assistance. Today made me experience what it really is like to be descriminated because of the colour of your skin. Just because i'm black and the lady was white then she deserved to be prioritised. So disappointing i must say.
I literally just walked out of the store and drove off to where i'd be a valued client not because of my skin colour. I didnt want to cause any drama as i didnt have no energy to confront such situation.
But you guys could do better if you stick to the 1st come 1st serve rule and value everbody that walks in to that store as they also bring money.

Not at all impressed
Salesman has a cell phone on each ear and I am trying to communicate to him what I need done while he is listening to two conversations
Workshop was dead quiet yet I was asked to come back tomorrow
Went to Mintys around the corner and all sorted
Have been coming to this branch for years and always had good service .....not today and will not be back

Terrible experience. Waited 2 hours for a puncture repair, despite the garage being quiet. Unfortunately, this is the second visit in 2 months with no joy!!!

Very pleased with the service and especially Brenden.(very honest and helpful with customers, aswell as very easy to communicate with). Would highly recommend.
