On Saturday I went to Tiger Wheel & Tyre Fourways for my multipoint check through Discovery Insure.
When I arrived, ja I could see it was a bit busy – and that’s fine, ek verstaan dit. But I stood at the first desk for about 15 minutes without any assistance. The sales
lady in front of me was helping another customer for a very long time, and what I needed was something quick.
After waiting patiently, I politely asked her if I was going to be assisted. The way she responded? With attitude. She said she’s busy with another customer, but the tone she used was completely unnecessary. Daai houding was nie reg nie. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t impatient – I was just asking a simple question. There’s no reason to speak to a customer like that.
What made it worse is that she didn’t even have a name tag on, so I couldn’t get her name. That’s also not acceptable. Hoe moet ’n mens iemand rapporteer as daar nie eers ’n naam is nie?
Thankfully, the gentleman working at the same desk stepped in and assisted me professionally. He was calm, respectful and helpful – exactly how a customer should be treated.
But honestly, that kind of attitude is not on. Ons betaal vir diens. Basic respect costs nothing. I expect better service and better professionalism next time.

This was my second visit to Tiger Wheel & Tyre, and I must say the service has improved even further. I came in with a suspected puncture, and after a quick inspection, they confirmed the nail hadn't gone through—so they fixed it free of charge. I was also offered complimentary coffee while I waited, which was a nice touch.
The staff were respectful, courteous, and proactive. One team member approached me as I was walking in and immediately offered assistance. The job was done efficiently and on time.
Looking forward to my next visit—hoping to leave a 5-star review next time. Keep up the great work!

Received the most prompt, professional and cost effective service from Eugene. He provided a time estimate, I advised I was under time pressure and he finished well before the estimated time. I was also totally satisfied with the actual service received.
